With conventional industrial videoscope systems, inspection might be easy but accurate judgment is difficult and can be time consuming. IPLEX II makes precision analysis faster and easier than ever before, regardless of the inspectors’ skill level, by introducing powerful new features such as a high-resolution Cristal LCD Monitor for more precise observation and Super Stereo Measurement for greater measurement accuracy and ease of use. Moreover, a new network function gives specialists the ability to remotely operate IPLEX II from the technology center, headquarters, or almost anywhere away from the inspection site. Cutting-edge technologies achieve high-quality imaging
The eyes of the IPLEX II R Series are in a highly sensitive, highdensity micro CCD that captures images at high resolution with rich gradients and exceptional clarity throughout an extended dynamic range.
Precise optical system
Olympus offers a comprehensive range of optical adapters, allowing almost any combination of brightness, depth of field (DOF), and field of view (FOV). These high-performance adapters sharply focus light at the micro-pixel level to realize supremely sharp, vivid detail that contributes to more precise measurement and inspection.
WIDER image processing algorithm
Images with a limited dynamic range tend to lose details in the brightest and darkest areas. However, Olympus has virtually eliminated such whiteout and blackout through a newly developed, proprietary image-processing algorithm that greatly expands the dynamic range. This wide dynamic extended range (WIDER) algorithm, exclusively featured on the IPLEX II R Series, brings out the details in the shadows and highlights. The resulting rich gradations naturally represent the inspection area as seen by the naked eye, allowing much more accurate inspection.
High Resolution LCD
The large 6.3-inch XGA high resolution LCD monitor provides 10x the resolution of conventional monitors (approx. 790,000pixels) and provides 25% more viewing area as well as a much wider dynamic range. It displays images with clear precision, bringing out the full potential of the high-resolution CCD so that users can inspect every detail with supreme accuracy.
Interchangeable scope units
IPLEX SX II R scope units can be interchanged to meet various needs. Scopes of different diameters and insertion lengths, as well as scopes with built-in forceps are available. The wide IPLEX SX II R Series lineup further expands your inspection possibilities.

IPLEX SX II R combines the value-added functionality of the IPLEX SA II R with the increased versatility of interchangeable insertion tubes. Whether it's the 4.4mm diameter 4.0m length insertion tube or the 6.0mm diameter 19.0m version, IPLEX SX II R provides a powerful and cost-efficient inspection solution with the option for measurement. The world's slimmest* scope with internal working channel is also part of the IPLEX SX II R range. With a diameter of just 6.2mm, not only can it be used for general inspections, it also has the added ability of hooking and foreign object retrieval.
